Types of Data collected
Registration - For Networks
To create an account our clients need to provide data including their organization name, email address and/or mobile number, general company details, services their company provides, primary contacts of their company.
Registration - For Attendees
Afflaim may act as either a data controller or a data processor in respect of your Personal Data, depending on the circumstances. If an event organizer creates an account with us to organize their events, Afflaim will be a data controller in respect of the Personal Data that the attendees provide as part of their account. We will also be a data controller of the Personal Data that we have obtained about the use of the Applications or Afflaim Properties, which could relate to Organizers or Consumers. We use this to conduct research and analysis to help better understand and serve Users of the Services as well as to improve our platform. However, if an attendee registers for an event as a Consumer, we will process your Personal Data to help administer that event on behalf of the Organizer (for example, sending confirmation, promotional and feedback emails, etc.) and to help the Organizer target, and understand the success of, their event and event planning (for example, providing event reports, using analytics to gain insights into the effectiveness of various functions and activities of their events, etc.). In these circumstances, Afflaim merely provides the "tools" for Organizers; Afflaim does not decide what Personal Data to request on registration forms, nor is it responsible for the continued accuracy any Personal Data provided. Any questions that you may have relating to your Personal Data and your rights under data protection law should therefore be directed to the Organizer as the data controller, not to Afflaim.
We save the data for the Meetings that you set or the Meetings that you accept invites to from other Attendees for a limited time. We share this information with the Event Organiser in order to help them plan their event. We do not sell this data to any third party organisation for commercial purposes. We Delete this data as soon at the event gets over and do not keep any copy related to the same.
You(Our Clients) have choices about the information on your profile, such as your photo, and company logo. You don’t have to provide additional information on your profile; however, profile information helps you to get more from our Services, including business opportunities to find you. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information.
We do not require Members or Visitors to include sensitive data (e.g., race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual orientation or criminal record) in their profile. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
